‘All good things must come to an end…’

This being the end of a series of  my work in which I have documented the life cycle of a lamppost. The birth, the celebration and now the death.

The lamppost’s position, location and use of props indicate and stimulate ideas of the mourning of the recent deceased.

Here I have proof that an inanimate object, being the lamppost can pass away and can be issued a death certificate, in this case, by Westminster council which states at the bottom in black ink. DEAD.
